[jdt-dev] Run and debug definitions in .project?

Hi all,

Eclipse saves it run and debug definitions not in .project file which 
makes it hard to keep all the project related info in one tree if one 
doens't uses the default workspace for a project.

Can this be altered or be an option to save the run and debug 
definitions in the .project file? Then source control systems only have 
to concern with the project dir where also all the other files reside.
