I believe the old Help Api hasn’t been touched since 2002. I loved it and had my students use it in a desktop application class with Swing. Unfortunately it was never updated since then and therefore never usable with JavaFX. It might be interesting to start it up again with both a JavaFX and a Java Server Faces version.

Has it been abandoned?  Is there still value in it?  Are there alternatives for it?
