Re: [incquery-dev] [viatra-dev] Xtext 2.8 update

Hi Zoli,

Should we restrict the version boundaries to "[2.8.0, 2.9.0)" upon successfully regenerating the grammars? (I can't think of any reason not to do so, but it's better to ask.)
BTW: is there any reason we went suddenly (temporarily?) "3.0.0)"?

Cheers,
Istvan

Thanks, I’ve added this to tomorrow’s discussion topics.

Here is the google link if anyone else would like to add further points:

Hi all,

today I have updated the requirements on Xtext to Xtext 2.8; everybody will need to download the latest version from the Xtext or Mars update sites; and all grammars need to be regenerated. As far as I could tell, everything works as expected, but if anything comes forth, please report it as soon as possible.

The changes were done simultaneously on IncQuery, VIATRA and the external stuff, such as CPS and Massif as well. I hope, I have not forgotten anything; but even in that case updates should be simple.

Cheers,
Zoli
