Re: [ide-dev] concrete action item - menu contribution

All,

I think this is the result of missing/unclear guidelines.
To solve this at the root, we should ask The Best Practice Group to consider this as a "hot topic," agree on best practices, and output clear guidelines on how to work on menus.

In the immediate, we should fix this in The Platform. There are already general bugs against menus, but I'd like to see a new one, specific to this case, providing steps to reproduce and expected behavior.
