Re: [ice-dev] Compile errors in my fork
This page is exactly what I was looking for.  I will go through it later.  I guess I missed it because I was expecting it to be one of the top bullet points or have it's own section.

Sorry, I ended that a little soon. I should say that I notice you added the deps repo, but you need to check the project out from it. Did you do that? If so, we should meet over a Google Hangout again.

ans on that page you should find plenty of info on setting up the environment, including an article on doing a full build. The only things missing from that article are the few things we can neither distribute nor discuss openly, which I sent you by email. Based on your description of the errors, you need to make sure you check out the third party dependencies as described in my letter.

I have been trying to get set up ICE dev and I have over 1800 compile errors in my workspace.  I have tried to follow the wiki but there is nothing in it about setting up a dev environment so it has been touch and go.

What I have done so far:

1) forked ice master into my own repo (it is old but I do not know how to update from master)
2) installed java 8
3) installed ICE from the mac install script
4) added forked repo
5) added ICEDeps repo

all of my compilation errors stem from missing dependencies.  some start with ncsa others with org.kitware.  If someone could point me to where I can get these or even if there is documentation about setting up a dev environment, I would greatly appreciate it.
