There seems to be an issue with the smearedTest3.e mesh (BISON 3-D smeared pellet example) loading in ice and visit. When loaded in ice, it pops up a VisIt window but nothing appears on the screen. When I open it up in VisIt it throws an error (see screen shot attached). When this happens, it would be nice if ice provided that error as well so we know that there is an issue with the mesh. Also, this mesh opens in paraview just fine (see screen shot attached) so I'm not sure why visit will not open it. I have also attached the mesh in hopes that you guys can duplicate the problem.
