Re: [ice-dev] Contribution log template?

Wayne,

That's awesome!

Thanks for taking care of that. I thought both of my addresses were already on file, but I'm glad you caught it.

All of the people listed in contributors in the ip log are actually committers. Their Eclipse.org emails and ORNL emails are:
amccaskey2223@xxxxxxxxx, mccaskeyaj@xxxxxxxx
tcpatt@xxxxxxxxx, pattersontc@xxxxxxxx
jordan.deyton@xxxxxxxxx, deytonjh@xxxxxxxx

Sorry about the mix up on that and thanks for helping us fix it!

Jay

We actually do this for you. If you ensure that Git contributions have the author tag set to the author's credentials, they'll automatically appear in the log.

I did notice that some of your commits were showing up as contributions. This is because the email address that you used on those commits is different from the one we have on file. I've added billingsjj@xxxxxxxx as one of your email addresses, so those contributions are no longer being displayed (we don't display contributions from active committers).

If there are contributions from other committers using different email addresses, let me know and I'll do something similar for them.

HTH,

Wayne

Wayne,

We accepted our first contribution a few days ago. I would like to create a contribution log. Is there a template or format I can use to maximize the benefit of the log?

Thanks,
Jay
