[hyades-dev] Requirements Group

The requirements group met today to discuss the outsanding requirements 
list and made significant progress. A bit of background for those of you 
not following this closely:  Everyone is free to submit enhancement 
requests through bugzilla.  they all get considered by the requirements 
council, prioritized and assigned to a release. The requiremetns group 
has represntation from all contributing organizations, and a mandate to 
seek out and represent additional input. Two things to report at this 
stage

1) We took a cut out of Bugzilla this morning which is the set of 
enhancements requests that we will be working with for this iteration of 
the process (and whihc therefore will feed into this iteration of the 
3.3 plan and any minor amendments to the 3.2 plan).  This doesn't mean 
that 3.3 is closed to enhancement requests, merely that this initial run 
of the process will not consider them.  There will be another run of the 
process before 3.3 is finalized. 

2) The enhancement requests differ markedly in granularity.  Many are 
very small, but some are quire large, and we would like to see them 
broken down further.  In particular the following enhancements identify 
activity against each of the future releases but do not break it down 
sufficiently for the planning process to identify any resource 
requirements.  In terms of the themes being proposed for the release 
these are all high priority (P1), so this is quite important.  So, 
please could the group as a whole (including relevant commiters) 
contribute additional detail into the enhancement requests: what 
additional documents do we need? what data collectors are required? what 
do we see as the priorities in testing our own code using TPTP?
