I forgot to note that this 70942 defect has been marked as a duplicate
of critical defect 70475 - TVT3.0:  No Scroll Bar on Recorder Control
View, which has also been marked by the TVT test team as a must fix for
3.0.1. 

The fix is a trivial change to the RecorderControlView:

                statusList = new
List(statusCanvas,SWT.V_SCROLL|SWT.H_SCROLL|SWT.READ_ONLY|SWT.BORDER);

The critical defect below arrived after the Monday committer's call.  The
TVT team has indicated that 70942 is a must-fix for 3.0.1.

TVT3.0: Hyades Proxy Recorder has truncation

A fix is in hand, and it has been tested on both Windows and Linux.

I'm asking for Hyades committer approval for this defect fix.  No
response within 24 hours indicates silent approval.

If approved it will be checked in by Thursday night, so it will make Friday's
mornings build.
