65922 was agreed to not go in unless trivial, and that has to include full testing. So this has to go down as a restriction for M10 and a top priority for 3.0.1.

66014 seems to be isolated enough and I understand from you that it will get proper testing before and after the drop Thursday, so it is approved.

Harm,

The following defects are ready to go into the build.  


Bugzilla defect 65922 https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=65922

Rational:  Remote file copy does not work on zSeries without this fix.

Test: This will be regression tested AFTER this weeks drop.  It will only be tested in the final test pass for M10.

Risk: Without this fix many of the test scenarios are broken on zSeries.  The risk of doing the fix is moderate as the code touched is not limited to just zSeries.


Bugzilla 66014 https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=66014

Rational:  The profiling agent does not report the proper  trace mode when the trace mode is 'TraceModeNone'.  This simple change will allow consuming products in serviceability of agent extensions.  When the profiler has been substituted entirely by an extension it is not clear that the profiler mode was set to TraceModeNone.

Test:  This will be regression tested AFTER this weeks drop.  It will only be tested in the final test pass for M10.

Risk:  The risk of integrating this fix is very low.  The risk of not integrating it is more expensive serviceability.
