[hyades-dev] Hyades Committer call - 7 June 04 -MINUTES

Attendees: Antony, Kent, Richard, Nellie, Joe, Eugene, Harm, Rob

Builds/Schedule
- Eclipse 3.0 integration build today
- Next IES build will be Thursday, June 10
- Hyades to add PDE fix to Eclipse build
- Regression test Hyades with this starting tomorrow
- We need to include EMF & XSD, too -- Richard to ensure Qiyan is clear on this
- Hyades M10 work needs to wrap up this week, or by early next week at latest
- June 17 is our last Hyades drop to IES ("golden driver")
- We will base our final 3.0 testing on this driver
- We must ensure there are no high-severity defects targeted for 3.0 on Bugzilla
- All high-severity defects targeted beyond 3.0 must have a work-around &/or have the reason not in 3.0 well-documented

Defects
- 65193 Richard: PMR w/JVM; 1.4.2 SR0 to ship June 30, SR1 in Sept; this is not expected to impact products until after 3.0.1; no Hyades use cases run this piece of code; Richard to talk w/IBM counterpart (not going to make M10); re-target for 3.0.1.
- 65466 Richard: No update; critical to Cupertino (only affects Rational heap analysis); likely target for 3.0.1
- 63904 Richard: Anandi was to have put this fix in by now; Rich to follow-up to see if this is now in; it will at least go in for this week (possibly tomorrow's regression)
- 64229 Richard: fix in hand; regression test created for this; appears to be specific to XP, possibly also 2000; fix going in today, for regression testing tomorrow
- 65166 Richard: 'version' is incorrect; fix is ready, will be included in today's build for tomorrow's regression
- 65778 Richard: no update; just opened Friday; Richard to give Harm status by tomorrow morning
- 65779 Richard: assigned to Nellie; instructions should be more generic (less IBM-centric); fix requires adding content in a readme; fix unlikely for today
- 56182 Richard: PMR - same story as 65193; impact to user of moving out to 3.0.1= IBM-centric problem, but can be reproduced w/Hyades use case; outlook in 3.0.1? Rob to find out availability by tomorrow - tell Richard; possibly must doc as permanent restriction in the readme (Nellie is in process of doing this)
- 56404 Richard: possibly must doc as permanent restriction in the readme (Nellie is in process of doing this)
- 64434 Richard: no fix yet; should be re-targeted to 3.0.1; doc AS400 support limitation in readme; Kent doubts testing on AS400 will work; Richard will assist Kent in performing AS400 testing within next 2 days
- 64476 Richard: approved last Friday, will follow-up w/Anandi to see if it's in
- 65476 Nellie: to be added to readme; readme needs to be reviewed, so should make tomorrow
- 64983 Joe: stays as 3.0.1
- 65723 Joe: stays as 3.0.1
- 64950 Nellie: change to readme of a sample, no translation needed; can be completed for Thursday's drop to IES; Richard will ensure verification is done
- 65168 Nellie: readme, fix planned for tomorrow
- 65753 Richard: targeted for 'future'
- 65842 Eugene: changed to 'major' & M10; fix ready, being tested; to be included in tomorrow's regression test
- 65843 Richard: possibly a dup of an earlier one; if not, Richard to tell Harm of status off-line
- 65922 Richard: opened this morning; if not trivial, will not be targeted for M10; would be understood limitation until 3.0.1
- 62500 Nellie: fix in hand for tomorrow
- 62957 Richard: fix in hand for the nested signal; to be re-targeted for 3.0.1
- 63069 Nellie: will be in for tomorrow
- 63969 Richard: JVM PMR opened; re-target for 3.0.1
- 64462 Richard: looking for updates; not high priority; re-target for 3.0.1
- 64577 Richard: this is a duplicate
- 65546 Joe: done; checked-in; bug closed
- 65736 Nellie: fix in for tomorrow
- 65820 Kent: fix ready (16 new files coming in); fix going in today
- 65607 Joe: target for 3.0.1 (& 'version' is incorrect); increase severity from 'minor'
- 59489 Nellie: readme, planned for tomorrow
- 65544 Kent: these were checked-in last week; should already be closed

Other business
