2) Minutes and matters arising
Last week's meeting minutes approved.
NEW ACTION - Mike to send these to hyades-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx
3) PMC and Eclipse interaction
Discussions with Skip from both Mike and Tyler indicated BOD was
expecting PMC/Hyades merger timeline to be postponed accoding to
proposal circulated at previous planning meeting. Tyler expects to make
presentation on status to BOD.
NEW ACTION Tyler to report back at next board meeting.
4) Operation of the current plan
Status of Hyades for Hyades testing discussed.
ACTION - Serge to take JUNIT issue forward to Eric Gamma for fixing
(will report back shortly after 3.0)
5) Technical forward plan
ACTION - Mike to email Dave Thomson regarding Eclipse post 3.0 plans
ACTION - Mike to draft an agenda for F2F meeting and distribute to
planning group for comments
6) Internal and external communication
Significant disussion of Serge's document,
Presentation: positive view on 3-stage integration with Hyades and
defined integration milestones. View of Milestone 2 as most relevant
over 1-2 year timeline. Some concern that Milestone 2 might be
"over-prescribed" leading to slow adoption or "under-prescribed"
leading to weak practical interoperability. Discussion of the
relationship with WSWB certification.
Marketing document: target vendor scope limited to ASQ. Discussion over
whetehr 1 or multiple documents
ACTION: all to review doc and post feedback to newsgroups before next
week's Planners meeting.
ACTION - Melanie to feedback on any current Eclipse PR activities
NEW ACTION - Mike to amend/annotate Serge's document to target a wider
audience
