RE: [hyades-dev] C/C++ Profiling

Hi Alain

Good to hear from you boys at QNX in the CDT. There should be a huge
amount of reuseability here, but it'll require a bit of getting you up
to speed to work out how to do this. We'd be looking at this after
Hyades 1.0 (due to more-or-less-freeze at the end of the month). The guy
with his finger on the pulse is Alan Pratt apratt@xxxxxxxxxx

Subject: [hyades-dev] C/C++ Profiling

Bonjour

	This is also for testing my email subscription 8-).

Scenario:
C/C++ Profile is not currently in the roadmap of the CDT project
but lots of third parties have already develop profiler plugins, tracing
etc ..

Note:
We were looking for the CDT project to provide some umbrella/framework
since some profiler plugins can reuse some CDT component like the C
parser etc ..

Question:
How generic/reusable the profiler framework is in Hyades to accomodate
specialized C profiling or other type of tracing activity

Having a redirection to the specific documents, is fine with. I'll
happily
do my homeworks and RTFM.

Thanks.
