Execution Team Group Weekly Meeting, 11AM Eastern, Tuesday, Apr 15, 2003 Attending --------- Joe Toomey, IBM Rational Lexington Anthony Miguel, Scapa Mike Norman, Scapa Kim Coleman, IBM Rational Cupertino Kris Kobylinski, IBM Toronto Clay Williams, IBM Watson Proposed Agenda ------------------------- 1. Review outcome from various meetings/discussions last week - meeting with UI group - component ownership discussion with Richard - discussion with test model team about Test Case vs. Test Suite (ongoing) 2. Discuss other action items - Antony's UC realization for controling a test (UC1.1) - Kris' list of existing events from Component Test 3. Agree on ongoing action items - Updating existing UC to reflect workbench-side proxies vs. Remote entities. - Assign ownership of components for implementation [deferred] Recorded Discussion ------------------- - Mike raises issue that plugable components (code generator and test tool) are not captured by UI team requirements yet. - Discussion about JMS vs something else vs RAC comm for Hyades 1.0 - Agreement in general that the messaging system provided by thmust provide for ACK. Execution stubs will manage timeouts and return or thrown an exception if timeout is exceeded. - Victor believes that the RAC messaging system only supports known events? - Victor would like to extend ExecutionEnvironment to allow control over "more than just env variables" (i.e. registry, etc.) Actions ------- - Enumerate set of events that can occur in response to a sent message [Antony] - Update UC1.1 [Antony] - Update existing UCs to show the interactions between entities on workbench side and remote side [Joe] - Identify existing control events within Component Test [Kris] - Determine the status of UC4, 2.1 (approved, more discussion?)
