1. [Mary] We are still working on 1.1M4.

  • Need to resolve 251102.
  • Last week we decided to go ahead with M4, but we need to resolve 251102 to do so.  (See item 5 below for discussion of specific issue. )

2. [Mary] Boston Higgins F2F October 27-29

  • Any questions about logistics?
  • Next week is Face-to-Face in Boston.  Have added details about how to find the location to the wiki.
  • Will post dial-in number to the wiki and to the dev list  [done now].

3. [Mary] Status update on updated version of Higgins Home page.

  • In process nursery version of home page is available at http://www.eclipse.org/higgins/nursery/   (Still has place holder pictures for Web Services and IdAS.)
  • New illustrations to match style of existing ones are underway.

4. [Markus] Higgins iPhone selector prototype

  • Markus walked us through the pictures of the iPhone selector he has been developing.
  • Prototype has two parts including Safari plug-in.  Can input cards.  Uses a hosted card store.
  • Is working now, needs improvements, but the pictures are real!
  • Responses included “pretty impressive”, “cool”…
  • Markus will be at the Face-to-Face meeting and can give us a live demo, and help you install it on your  iPhone.
  • Previously IBM created Google android selector prototype.

5. [Greg] IdAS Registry Configuration

  • Open issues around the ComponentSettings.
  • Greg finally has time to work on this and apologized for the delay.  There are people waiting on getting this issue fixed.
  • Haven’t been able to get Greg and Jim available at the same time to discuss.
  • Raj made some assumptions when he wrote code for the configuration file.  This is one of the issues effecting Jim’s configuration code.  Greg thinks he understands why Jim’s code doesn’t work and wants to talk to Jim about motivations for Jim’s configuration file and to come up with a more general solution.  May need to standardize some things more.
  • Greg to coordinate with Jim.  Jim will be at F2F.  Greg may carve out some time during F2F for discussion, if this is not fully resolved before then. Have updated the F2F agenda with Greg’s availability.
  • Greg has discussed with Raj.  He knows what they need.  They want it to work and be part of a stable Higgins build.  Need to document what needs to be done and have a general solution.
