Agenda

1. [Brian] Now working on 1.1M4.

*   See:

UPDATES:
  • Targeting 5-Sep for M4 build. M4 candidate ticket owners please go to above referenced site to update the list of M4 candidate tickets and move them out to other builds (M5 or Backlog) as appropriate.
  • Daniel noted question on getting build status emails on audit log project that has been recently created. He is note getting build status emails (either pass or fail). Would just prefer to get build fail emails.
  • Also discussed need to send out reminder instructions to Higgins Dev about how people can subscribe to build status emails (either pass and/or fail notifications).
  • ACTIONS:
    • Brian W. to follow up with instructions to Higgins Dev on how to subscribe build pass/fail email notifications.
    • Daniel to send note on the specifics of his audit log project build notification issues to Brian for follow up.

2. [Brian] Status update on Eclipse SVN adventure - is everyone OK now?
  • No new issues reported.
  • It was noticed that the svn links on the components pages are all broken and need to be udpated. Brian W. to follow up on this.

3. [Brian & David] Internationalization

*   See
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Internationalization_Support
*   Dependency has been approved and is in SVN.
*   Need to  identify next components to work on. (Brian, is there an upda=
te on this?)
  • Brian W. sent out email to Higgins Dev looking for next component volunteer for internationalization initiative. Will wait to see if we get any responses. If not - will pursue/recruite a candidate component/owner.
  • Question on are there any tools that can be used to scan code to look for string content that needs to be resource bundled. David Kuehr-Mclaren took the action to look into this and send out an email to Higgins Dev with his findings. Ideally would like to be able to integrate this as an auto scan as part of regular build process  - but could do manually as needed worst case.

4. [Brian] Next Higgins F2F

*   Scheduling a meeting at IIW didn't make sense.  So far, a longer meeti=
ng somewhere else is the most popular option.  Currently Boston is wining (=
London also got 2 votes.)  Vote for your preference.
*
http://www.doodle.ch/e29wa6a77ctg8ft5  - Poll  on ideal length
*
http://www.doodle.ch/pesa7yhbexbtm6n7  - Poll  on ideal  location
  • People are encouraged to go to above polling links to vote on their preference for F2F meeting.

5. AOB (any other business):
  • Drummond noted we need to add a agenda item for UDI support discussion on future Higgins Dev call in coming weeks.
