RE: [higgins-dev] JNDI Context Provider Conversion to new IdASRegistry

Mary,

The OpenID CP was checked into Eclipse nearly 5 months
ago. I'm not sure what additional legal entanglements might
result from my converting it to use Markus new registry but
I was only giving that work priority at Paul's request for an
upcoming demo on Sept. 7 and 8 in which he said he would
like to use the OpenID CP. I'll suspend that work until I hear
from you further.

Tom,

This is great news on your progress. The IP for the underlying OpenID
protocols has not yet been resolved so Eclipse can't review the IP for the
OpenID protocol yet, so we can't check OpenID code into Eclipse. So we need
to take a close look before you commit any OpenID stuff to make sure that
your CP isn't entangled with this issue.

The JNDI CP work is now done, tested, and checked in. I'll be finishing up
the OpenID CP and checking that in on Monday.
