It's actually quite simple: you send email to the orbit-dev list offering to
supply the bundle to orbit, everyone jumps for joy, and you become a
committer on orbit responsible for maintaining that bundle. Where
maintaining means: upload the binary.

Hi Bjorn,

Higgins has a number of third party modules working their way through the
IPzilla process (we have this plug in architecture with "adaptors" to other
identity systems...) It is great to have common things like Xerces and
Commons-logging already approved for other projects and managed in Orbit.
What is the process for getting additional modules accepted into Orbit? We
don't have any new ones that are all the way through the IPzilla process
yet, but are anxiously awaiting the event (thrilled with the recent process
improvements to IPzilla) and thinking about packaging issues.
