The word iCard was briefly mentioned, but
one of the Microsoft guys said there were problems with it but I don’t
have specifics.
What about iCard ?
Has a vcard ring/connotation to it. 'i' for Identity of course.

Over lunch with Kim
Cameron (I was on a panel with Kim at MIX06 in Vegas on Tuesday) we discussed
the word “InfoCard”.
But first some background. InfoCard is a Microsoft code-name, their product
offering will be called something else. The demos of InfoCard that I’ve
seen show a button entitled “Sign in with InfoCard” on a prototype
e-commerce site’s sign in page.
We discussed what this button text should really say considering that both
Vista/InfoCard and, Linux/Firefox/Higgins (and perhaps other things) are
capable of signing in? We (Higgins) don’t want to have the word InfoCard
there, and it seems neither does Microsoft. Kim suggested “Information
Card”. That didn’t exactly thrill me. I told him that in Higgins we
call these things HTags.
