Re: [hibachi-dev] What's the point of the Ada Navigator?

Luke,

The Navigator view is provided by the Eclipse platform and only shows the resources (files and folders) found in the project directories. We don't have any direct control over what is shown in the Navigator view.

In addition to the resources, the Ada Navigator also shows the Ada elements defined in the Ada source files, as well as providing context menu items specific for managing and building Ada projects. There will be additional features added in the future.

The Ada Navigator fills the same role for Ada development as the Package Explorer does for JDT, and the C/C++ Projects view does for CDT.

Considering there is already a Navigator, why is there an Ada one? Is it
to show only the Ada projects? If so, it shows the Java ones at the
moment.

Thanks,
Luke.
