Re: [henshin-dev] Transformation rules in many diagrams

Hi Cristiano,

the graphical editor will show all rules and units that you have in your root module. What you can do is to distribute your rules over multiple *.henshin files and have for each of them a separate *.henshin_diagram file. I have never tried it out, but it should work.

Alternatively, you can also hide elements in the graphical editor. Take a look at the context menu in the "Filter" submenu. So you could also have multiple *.henshin_diagram files which are all using the same *.henshin file.

In the future we would like to support submodules in the graphical editor, which would be conceptually very similar to subpackages in Ecore models.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Christian

That's a very basic question, I'm sorry but I'm very newbie in Henshin.

I'm working to specify transformation rules between models without running these tansformation although. I just want to create these models to support me in some decisions I need to take regarding these models.

I have a lot of parts of transformations to be done and design all of them in only one diagram has being tough.

Is there a way to separate transformation rules in many diagrams ?

Thank you in advance.

Cristiano
