Re: [gmf-dev] GMF Tooling is marked as not participating in Indigo
|
I disabled the GMF Runtime yesterday. The
indigo build was failing since GMF Runtime was pointing at M6 milestone
build dependencies that have been taken down. I am rebuilding once everyone
has their M7 builds up.
Cheers...

GMF Tooling is marked as not participating in Indigo

Anthony,
We are currently working with Michael in order to ensure GMF Tooling can
get into Indigo, and I noticed that GMF Runtime was disabled in Indigo
(there is not GMF Runtime on the staging site http://download.eclipse.org/releases/staging/
).
Is GMF-Runtime missing on purpose or is this an error?

Hello,
I have fixed the builds for M6 and was going to run the M7 today or tomorrow
(to my understanding everything is fine now so there will be no problems
with the build).
But I only did the builds and promotion to Eclipse download area, not the
staff related to Indigo
Regards,
Michael

Hi Anthony,
I remember Michael (Golubev) made huge efforts in order to produce a build
for M6. Then I think it is fine.
Let's wait for his approbation before joining Indigo.

Hi Mickael
We have GMF Tooling builds running again, have an update site and are ready
to publish to indigo again?
We need to ask the planning council to have GMF Tooling added to the Indigo
release, since we missed the M4 deadline.
http://www.eclipse.org/indigo/planning/EclipseSimultaneousRelease.php#pcExceptionProcess
"First, the Project's PMC must approve the request for an exception
and it is the PMC (not the Project) that makes the request to the Planning
Council. The Planning Council member that represents the PMC would bring
the issue forward to the Planning Council. "
Cheers...
Anthony

GMF Tooling is marked as not participating in the project metadata.
Open the portal and change the simultaneous release entry for Indigo to
1.

Hi,
GMF Tooling is not listed as part of Indigo. Is it possible to get it fixed?

We usually start May off with announcement of the annual release train
website and this year is no exception!

Following the same theme as the Indigo Wallpaper[1] I pushed out last month
I've just finished putting on the final touches to the Indigo pages.
If your project is participating in the train and are not appearing in
the projects list[2] please let me know.
We're also starting up our annual Friends of Eclipse push, last year we
shattered our goal of 360 last year with a total of 487. This year
we seek to find 500 Friends of Indigo. Remember Friends get it faster![3]
