In reference to an email earlier, we need
to be able to add entries for Mohammed’s contributions in our project log
(he has none, currently). This is an essential part of maintaining the integrity
of our project’s IP, and serves as a quick validation for each
contributor when voting on new Committers.
There are some 300+ references to mmostafa
in our CVS log, which need to be accounted for. Steve, as it seems you
have committed contributions for Mohammed, can you please summarize his
activities for the log? This is necessary as there are no patches
submitted in Bugzilla by Mohammed, although he was assigned some bugs. We
will need to ensure all of our CVS commits on behalf of a contributor are found
in the log http://www.eclipse.org/gmf/development/gmf-log.csv
Once more, I would ask all Committers to
reconcile their commit activities against the project log, making sure we are
giving visibility to our contributors!

Hi Team,
I would like to nominate Mohammed Mostafa for commit rights on the GMF Runtime
team.
Mohammed has been a key member of the GMF diagram runtime development team
since it's inception as an open source component. He has made important
contributions in the overall performance and memory consumption of node and
edge creation as well as revamping parts of our diagram API to be consistent.
Mohammed will continue to focus on performance and API issues in the diagram
layer and will be an important contributor in the future. I would like to
cast the first vote: +1.
