When did you update the portal metadata?

On Friday.

It's a manual step to ping github to update their list of mirrors based on this:
     http://eclipse.org/projects/git-repos.php

Ok, I did not understand that. Maybe it would be worth making it clearer on the wiki.

I generally bother them once a month but can do it later this week in
anticipation of JDT moving its repos to Git.

Then let's wait and see... Please notify me (or the mailing-list) when the update is performed so that I'll ensure everything worked fine.
