We haven't converted our releng projects to git yet, so we haven't got that far.  Andrew, Kim, do you have any ideas of the direction we're going for this?

Have a look at the targets at the end of our plugin fetch [1] script.  You can probably add those to your customTargets.xml file and use that to check out your map files.
