Re: [gemini-dev] Gemini Update Sites

Hi Mike,

I was on vacation the last days. Excuse me for the delay in my reply.

I tried today to upload the artifacts but it seems that I do not have permissions to do this. Can you check it?

I wanted to upload the gemini web update site under download.eclipse.org/gemini/updates/web/2.0.0. Is that OK?

Thanks in advance,
Regards
Violeta

Hi Violeta,

I noticed that the updates folder is still empty. Have you just not gotten around to adding the repo yet, or are there any issues with using that folder? Just checking to make sure you are not waiting on me for anything...

Hi Violeta,

Yes, we decided a common Gemini update site for releases would be worthwhile, at least until a common RT update site is available.
I created a download.eclipse.org/gemini/updates folder and would recommend the releases go in there. BTW, it would also be nice if the stuff in download.eclipse.org/gemini.web was moved under the gemini folder with jpa and dbaccess.

Hi Mike,
I want to ask whether there is already one common place for update sites. (I read in the MM from the last Gemini call that there will be such common place for the release versions.)
We released Gemini Web 2.0.0 and we want to publish our update site.
Thanks in advance
Regards
Violeta
