[gef-dev] Vote for Committer status for Matthias Wienand was started by Alexander Nyssen

tools.gef Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that Alexander Nyssen has
nominated Matthias Wienand as a Committer on the tools.gef project. The
reason given is as follows:

I would like to nominate Matthias as a committer on the GEF4 component.

He has worked on GEF4 as a very active contributor throughout the last
year, developing large parts of the new GEF4 Geometry API (see the several
attachments to https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=355997 for
details), which includes a considerable amount of test cases and
examples/demos for the added functionality. Matthias also has - and is
still doing so - spent considerable effort in building up the reference
documentation for our new Geometry API in the wiki
(http://wiki.eclipse.org/GEF/GEF4/Geometry). He has not been very active in
the forum and on the mailing lists yet, but he signaled his intention to
get more involved there, too.

Matthias is willing to support us further with building up the GEF4
provisional component and I think our team could pretty much benefit from
having him on board.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 10 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Matthias Wienand must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for
a successful election.

Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation
portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be
correctly recorded unless you use the portal):

    http://portal.eclipse.org/

The project Committers eligible to vote are:

    Nick Boldt
    Alex Boyko
    Ian Bull
    Marc Gobeil
    Anthony Hunter
    Alexander Nyssen
    Cherie Revells
    Stephan Schwiebert
    Fabian Steeg
    Zoltan Ujhelyi

*NOTE*: Successful elections are left open for a maximum of 120 days to
allow for processing of paperwork. After that time the election will be
expired, regardless of its current status. Should papework processing on
the part of the candidate take more time than allowed, a new election will
have to be held.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your project
lead, PMC member, or the EMO <emo@xxxxxxxxxxx>
