[gef-dev] Vote for Committer status for Stephan Schwiebert was started by Fabian Steeg

tools.gef Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that Fabian Steeg has
nominated Stephan Schwiebert as a Committer on the tools.gef project. The
reason given is as follows:

I would like to nominate Stephan Schwiebert as a committer on the Zest
component of the GEF project. Stephan has recently contributed a new
visualization to Zest - Cloudio, a customizable word cloud widget and
viewer:

- http://bugs.eclipse.org/349969 - Code contribution for Zest (Tag Cloud
Viewer)
- http://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5299 - Cloudio tag cloud
viewer for Zest

The announcement of Cloudio in Zest caused community interest in the form
of blogs and a new open source project, Sourcecloud:

-

r.html
- http://github.com/misto/Sourcecloud

I think it would be great if Stephan could continue to maintain his work
directly as a Zest committer. He has started maintaining Cloudio in its new
infrastructure (Git, Bugzilla, Wiki):

- http://bugs.eclipse.org/355533 - Move documentation and samples to
Eclipse wiki and Git repo
- http://bugs.eclipse.org/355590 - Cloudio can't work correctly on win7 x64
with jdk x64
- http://wiki.eclipse.org/Zest/Cloudio

With his interesting, well received major contribution to Zest and his
demonstrated ability to work in the Zest infrastructure, I believe Stephan
would be a very valuable Zest committer.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 8 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Stephan Schwiebert must receive at least three +1s and no -1s
for a successful election.

Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation
portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be
correctly recorded unless you use the portal):

    http://portal.eclipse.org/

The project Committers eligible to vote are:

    Nick Boldt
    Alex Boyko
    Ian Bull
    Marc Gobeil
    Anthony Hunter
    Alexander Nyssen
    Cherie Revells
    Fabian Steeg

*NOTE*: Successful elections are left open for a maximum of 120 days to
allow for processing of paperwork. After that time the election will be
expired, regardless of its current status. Should papework processing on
the part of the candidate take more time than allowed, a new election will
have to be held.
