Hi Ben,

As it is the summer, many people are on vacation.  I have a Linux box, 
however, I am traveling (until Sept), and I don't have access to it.  If 
you could help with a patch, I could possibly review it. 

Because there is a problem with Linux (and not windows), the problem 
*may* be in SWT or even GTK.
