[gef-dev] connection and gate

hi,
        i'm
trying to develop a minimal class diagram using GEF and draw2d. it will
have a palette with icons for a symbol( eg: class) and a binary association.
On click on an icon in the palette followed by click on viewer/canvas/graphics
editor, a figure should be displayed. it shd be possible to place a binary
association between 2 symbols.
        It
would be a great help if someone could provide a flowchart on how model,
editparts, editpolicies, commands would interact to do this.
i ve been able to create an editor with
palette. following the logic plugin, i am able to display a symbol on the
editor. but the connection is not working. i'm debugging the logic plugin
to get how a connection is done but still am lost. do help me out.
