Title: Loading of container models takes longer time

hi all,
i am writing a uml application using GEF. one serious thing
i noticed was that GEF takes longer time for loading if there
are more children within a container (similar to logic container).
if i stop adding the children it loads a lot faster.

why is this behavior? am i commiting
mistakes somewhere. i am curious to know.
