Re: [equinox-dev] Initial provisioning

Jeff, Simon,
thanks for the explanations, will watch that space, it seems
DeploymentAdmin is very useful for changing deployed bundles in update
or new constellations even in non mobile scenarios.

Hi Peter,

Initial Provisioning is primarily concerned with installing the
"management agent" (we still need an implementation). As Jeff mentions,
Deploment Admin is part of the upcoming MEG spec (JSR232) and is a more
general provisioning tool. If you're interested in provisioning, then
I'd definitely suggest reading the Deployment Admin spec. It's not
perfect, but I still think there's a lot to like -- and it's definitely
applicable beyond the mobile space.

The activity in the incubator is a work-in-progress and right now is
just skeletal work. If you want to follow/track it see
