You may want to take a look at the following bug report:

The option you need is -data @none

Note that in the latest I build there was a problem that will prevent you to start with this mode.
The fix is is HEAD and will be available in the next I build.

Hi all,

at the moment we are building a new java project and just decided to use
eclipse as a
rcp because of its great plug-in system. My question now is, how do I have
to configure
eclipse so that it doesnt depend anymore on the workspace datamodel and the
location
of the plugins. It would be great if you could point me to
tutorials/documentation/source
code so that I could figure out how to to that.
