This should normally be fixed by

which contributes the newly released EMF Compare 3.3.21.
The actual changes needed seem to have been made in EMF
Compare: https://github.com/eclipse-emf-compare/emf-compare/commits/master
But the corresponding 3.3.21 release has not been
released.
I've pinged Laurent Goubet and the other team members
about that.
