I am afraid that is not true.

At least, Eclipse IDE for Java Developers still lists me as Tester [1]
and I have announced (twice!) on this mailing list that I will no longer
be able to allocate time and will hence resign as maintainer of the Java
EPP package.

Apparently, my mails on 6 June 2019(!) and 3 March 2020 went under the
radar, but given that the "Eclipse IDE for Java Developers" is the most
downloaded package of all, it should have an active tester.

I hope you will find someone willing to step up, but unfortunately, my
current job doesn't leave me time for that.

Best wishes,

Andreas
