Hi,
I think we have Tips in 3 different distributions. Given this, the number of uses is quite large. I checked one random tip and it was downloaded 20.000 times across all mirrors since release.
We did not get any user problem reports other than from close contributors. We also did not receive any AERI reports.

Hi,
The Eclipse SDK does currently not include the Tips of the Day
framework. It was suggested to wait for feedback on the EPP for this
framework.
Could you comment in
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=535004 if you think we
should add it to the Eclipse SDK produced by the platform team?
