Greetings Package Maintainers,

With the current Photon package RC2 I started to run into an issue with all my Maven based projects. It turns out, that its settings are screwed up.

Have anyone seen this bogus REMOVE_PREFERENCE_MARKER value before?

There seems to be two Bugzilla issues, with the core one being this: https://bugs.eclipse.org/516566
