[epp-dev] Urgent: EPP Oxygen.2 RC4b packages

Dear Package Maintainers,

after two consecutive respins of the Oxygen.2 Simultaneous Repository during quiet week, we had to rebuild all packages, and as a consequence we have to re-test all of them.

The new build for Oxygen.2 RC4b is now available at

  https://hudson.eclipse.org/packaging/job/oxygen.epp-tycho-build/423/artifact/org.eclipse.epp.packages/archive/

The p2 repositories are

  http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/packages/oxygen/2.RC4b
  http://download.eclipse.org/staging/oxygen

Please test them soon, because the release is scheduled for Wednesday, 20th.

Thanks and regards,
Markus

Subject: [cross-project-issues-dev] Oxygen.2 RC4 (respin of the respin!) staging repo is complete
To: cross project issues <cross-project-issues-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx>, Alexander Nyßen <nyssen@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi,

I declare the staging repo for Oxygen.2 RC4 respin (yet another one) to
be complete.

As usual, it can be found here:

http://download.eclipse.org/staging/oxygen/

It includes the following fixes:
        - DTP 1.14.1.201712071719
        - JGit/EGit 4.9.2.201712150930-r

Additionally (since I did not create a separate branch for the respins),
the following commit got in:

- "Update GEF contribution to point to 5.0.2 release." (23e04eb)

I consider this to be not critical.
@Alexander Nyßen: can you confirm that this is not critical?

If this commit should not be in the Oxygen.2 release, I will redo the
respin on a separate branch.

Please note, that we are in (not so) quiet week for Oxygen.2. If no
blocking issues are found, RC4 respin (the second one) will become the
official Oxygen.2 release on December 20th.

Thanks for all your contributions.

Regards,

Fred

P.S.: In the new year, we will have to change the SimRel processes to
avoid having respins. This is seriously getting out of hand.
