+1 from MPC.
As Markus wrote, the package update works (I tried with the previous RC4 package as well as the RC3 one). The fix is in and the nature discovery dialog doesn't show up for each new/reopened project anymore. It still works as expected for those that are actually missing natures, and for which a supporting plug-in is listed on the Marketplace (you can try it out with the example project at [1]).
Not a blocker, but when testing on a newly set up Windows Domain VM with an authenticating NTLM proxy, I noticed that we're asking for proxy credentials multiple times during startup. That's apparently nothing new though - I tried with Neon, where this happens as well. I'm going to track down who's doing the network access and file separate bugs, but at first glance it seems to be the old HttpClient NTLM issue in ECF.
