Re: [epp-dev] CPP package N&N link

I have no idea where any of this is coming from so it may be CDT, but I'm not sure how or don't remember. The wiki for our latest stuff is http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/User/NewIn84 so put that in wherever you put the other one.

Doug.

I think this one needs to be solved in CDT, because that part of the welcome page in the package is contributed by them,  and I'd suggest opening a bug.

Hi,

this Automotive package is also affected by this issue. Or maybe a slightly different one.

On the welcome page, when I go to "What's New" and then "C/C++ Development", I get redirected to the "CDT 8.3 - New and Noteworthy"  Eclipse help chapter. Just below the title is a link that invites the user to check out the wiki as well:

"See What's new in CDT 8.3 on the CDT Wiki which may contain more recent information."

This link currently points at http://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/User/NewIn83.

Should all this, i.e. Eclipse Help and wiki link be updated to CDT 8.4?

Regards,

Stephan

Well there are several N&N links in the CPP package. I just noticed that the CPP one was out of date

    project="Eclipse CDT" />

8.4 is the right one for CDT this release. It doesn't cover the whole CPP package but that's another story.

Thanks!

Doug will confirm this, but that 8.4 URL looks much better.
I've changed it in Git for both packages, C/C++ package and Parallel package.

I'm sure there will be more changes required. We can finalize things like this during quite week (after RC4).

Thanks,
Markus

Because we point to it in the Parallel package too....
