Re: [epp-dev] Luna M6 packages - EclipseCon Release

No, nothing has changed in the meantime. Given the many concerns I didn't want to decide this myself - see the bug report, but I knew that this issue would pop up again. I've had the hope that we all can discuss it again at EclipseCon, and the timing of this bug report is perfect.

There are still two options: Restrict only the packages in question, or all packages (affected or not) which is still my favorite.

Maybe we can discuss it on the bug report or here F2F.

Thanks, Markus

It’s not clear to me whether any actions on bug 423734 have been taken.

Markus, do *all* EPP packages now enforce at least Java 1.7?

indeed, I've unpacked a fresh version of the Automotive IDE and made sure that it runs on top of a Java 7 VM when launching it for the very first time.
