We are trying to update the download page to make it more obvious to user what package they should download. One suggestion is that we make the new Classic SDK the standard download and then list Pre-package solutions.

I think it the new Classic SDK include EGit and MPC then we have the platform for allowing people to install different types of plugins. If you have an opinion or suggestions please participate on this bug. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=404861
