Re: [epp-dev] Kepler M7 EPP packages

Markus,

Dennis and me were able to find the reason for the Guava 10/11 compatibility problem we are facing with the Automotive IDE package under Windows: In the Windows versions of the Automotive IDE package, both Xtext 2.4.0 and Xtext 2.4.2 plug-ins are present whereas in the MacOsX versions of the same package only Xtext 2.4.2 plug-ins are present. And in Xtext 2.4.0 this bug was not yet fixed.

Do you have any clue why this happens? I have no other idea than that this must be en EPP releng problem.

-1 for Automotive due to blocking Guava 10 vs. Guave 11 compatibility problem in Xtext [1].

In addition, automatic detection and initialization of inlude paths in CDT and some key binding conflicts between JDT and CDT [3] have been observed.

Hi all,

I pressed "send" too early...

The last build looks good to me except bug 406985 that needs some love until RC1. The packages can be found here:

  http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/kepler/download/20130509-1108/

The corresponding p2 repositories are

  http://build.eclipse.org/technology/epp/epp_build/kepler/download/20130509-1108/repository/ and
  http://download.eclipse.org/releases/staging/

Please test and send your votes until tomorrow/Friday.

Thanks,
Markus
