I have only seen David respond to this message and Part 1. Are the
other package maintainers listening and just quietly agreeing? It
would be nice to hear back from everyone stating they have gone through
Markus's checklist. Time is running out so last minute request will
be harder to implement.

I am concerned about the last two bugs when I realized earlier today
that I haven't heard of a single person testing on MacOSX/Carbon. On
the other hand: I haven't seen any complaints. So, maybe someone is
able to test and verify that bug 307983 still exists. *If* it is still
a problem and no one knows the cause (and has a solution at hand) we
would need to remove the Carbon packages.
The schedule... well, this week is Helios RC4 but if there are any
contributions next week I need to rebuild the packages and will ask for
re-testing.
