Hi Scott,
enhancement request - yes, then it won't be forgotten in the future.
Realistically I don't have spare time that I could invest before Helios is out, unless someone tells me an existing p2 trace option that could be set in the build and that writes out all resolutions that go into a package.

not really. All bundles are taken from the Helios p2 repository (and even there it was sometimes hard to say through which project e.g. an Orbit bundle was contributed - not sure if this is still a problem or has been solved in the meantime).
In EPP there is only a list of 'feature dependencies' and it is p2's responsibility to find a solution during build time. The packages web pages are listing the feature requirements, e.g.
