Thanks for testing the packages, Eric!
It gives me a better gut feeling if the packages are tested before we release them ;-)
Regarding the Welcome pages - I am willing to help every package maintainer to do some branding on this page but it is his/her decision to ask for this level of branding. The JEE package as the most downloaded package is kind of a pilot-package and we had to do some work to integrate the bundles for the intro pages into the EPP build. IMO we should be careful about making a "package" to a "product" but this is worth another discussion.

I downloaded and minimally tested the OS X 64-bit builds of the following packages:
CPP
Java
JEE
Modeling
PHP
Pulsar
RCP
By "minimally tested" I mean that I verified that each one starts up (my system JVM is set to the standard Apple Java 6 64-bit JVM), the About dialog is branded appropriately, and the correct EPP feature appears to be installed.
I also checked the Welcome pages, but it appears that only JEE package brands the welcome page. That's a shame; EPP packages should provide some targeted content for users, IMO.
