The weekly reminder... we have another conference call today, 11amET/5pmCET (see below).

Most of the items below are "in progress", the Mac problem should be solved in the latest nightly builds but I don't have the chance to test it.

Items for today:

- review of action items
- status of the packages, build problems
- website: package maintainers should review their package description, links to N&N, icon for the package in their eclipse_XYZ_galileo.xml file
- package maintainers should check the content of their packages (and send me reminders if I forget to update / check-in something!)
- schedule of build and testing for Galileo RC1 (to be released on Monday)
- ...

Sorry I am a bit late sending out the action item list.

 

Attendees: Gabe, Markus, Thomas, Hendrik, David, Ian, Nathan

 

1. The packages for the Mac can not be updated.  It was agreed this was not a reason to respin but Nathan will add a noticed to the download page highlighting the problem.
2. On the next call, we will determine if we will build the RC1 packages based on the automated process.  Markus and Gabe will work to integrate Thomas’s build process into the scripts.  Thomas and Markus will work to start running nightly automated builds.  Markus will send out notices to the EPP mailing list when an I-Build is ready for testing.
3. The Pulsar package has indicated they would like to schedule a rebuild near the end of July.  This would mean updating the Galileo repository.  Ian will work with the Pulsar/MTJ team and encourage them to raise this issue with the Planning Council.
4. Ian and Markus will review the EPP branding and licensing requirements.
