RE: [epp-dev] Archive .exe file

Hi Mark,

As for disk activity, there is a new feature of Vista: now it is intensively
scanning all executables containing substrings "setup", "install", and
(maybe) some other. This is true for any executable on Vista having such
names and do not related to SFX archive. If you're on Vista, please try to
rename your archive to avoid Vista file scan.

As for log, I'll ask folks and get back to you shortly with activity logging
options.

Kind Regards,
Andrey

I have generated an archive file with the <archivetask> ... </archivetask>
ant task. I get no errors when I create it.
However when I run the exe file I get alot of disk activity and the no
output.

1) where does the code that is specified by the archive unpack section get
unpacked to?
2) is there a debug or log that I can turn on to see what is going on in the
archive?

Andrey:
Everything seems to be working. I'm just not getting the output I expected.
Send thanks to your team for their hard work to
get this to where it is.
