Greetings EPP folks, package maintainers in particular (cc ide-dev)

If you have interest in including the Workspace Mechanic [0] in your package(s), please let us know on Bug 421571 [1].

Sorting out how to make this available to packages is something that you'll see discussed on the bug. At this point, I'm thinking that it belongs in an "IDE Goodies" project (EPP subproject) along with other similar tools that individually may not make sense or are otherwise not viable as independent projects. We might, for example, include the Image Utilities from the Examples project. Or see if Jeeyul is interested in contributing some parts of PDE Tools [2].

I'm thinking of shared management, build, schedule, p2 repositories, downloads, etc.
