The EPL states:

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York and the intellectual property laws of the United States of America.

There is a wide variety of opinion as to whether a choice of law provision is a good idea in the context of an open source license. We should at least discuss whether this is appropriate for a future version of the EPL.
